also, did you download aom? or did you buy it at the store?
uninstall aom. del the folder from programs. del all cookies and temp files.
reboot the pc.

do the cleaner and registry clean ups.
your first option is to use the store-bought version to install aom again. Start the game up in single player mode, and in the menu click 'more' then 'update'. This will automatically patch the game.

remember to use your store-bought installation cd key.
